Alfons Krause is an elderly German man who gives piano lessons, and is a retired German-language tutor. Little is known beyond that he was rescued during WWII by the Allies from a concentration camp and moved to the U.S.A. shortly afterwards.
History
Alfons Krause was rescued from a German concentration camp during World War II, by the Allies. He moved to the U.S. shortly after the end of World War II, and made a living teaching the German-language while he studied English himself at college. He also graduated with a B.A. in Music, specifically the piano, and for the sixty years following has been giving piano lessons. He makes enough to live on, with twelve students currently, and has enough to afford a few luxuries. He need only work four hours a day, and thus has much of his time to himself. Nothing much exciting has happened to him in recent times…
