History
Bianca Fuchs married Richard Leslie Wacker. Part of the pre-nuptial agreement was that they would both hyphenate and any children of their union would as well. Leslie was their only child, born a year before Richard died of a heart attack and his mother inherited the Wacker Ad Agency, a big deal on Madison Avenue. She ran it ruthlessly, shrewdly, and made a great deal of money. Money spent on hiring nannies and servants to raise the child she was too busy to love or pay the remotest bit of attention to after she was done nursing him.
Unfortunately, Leslie grew up a dreamy, unambitious child, a huge disappointment to his wheeler-dealer sphere-crushing mother. Things were not improved when she remarried when Leslie was seven. The new husband, Burton Townsend, played at being a fun dad for long enough to embezzle Bianca's money left her by her first husband out from under her, then took off for Uruguay, leaving Leslie once again with no parental figure to speak of. His mother had no use for a boy who didn't want to follow in her footsteps. And considering one man had the ill-grace to die on her, and the other betrayed, abandoned, and stole from her, Leslie was subjected to misandrist tirades when his mother acknowledged his presence at all.
As a result, young Leslie withdrew from her, and stopped showing any overly emotional response to anything she said. The emotional damage was done and set the pace for his older years, as he grew up not knowing exactly how to relate to others, but desperately wanting to, because he was lonely and sought approval and acceptance. He kept his grades up, because Bianca's wrath was terrible if he brought home anything less than As. And otherwise, she left him to his own devices, which mainly consisted of reading, watching movies, and playing videogames.
He became a regular customer at The Secret Lair the year he turned thirteen, and was allowed to ride the subway on his own. He began spending more and more time in the store, because he found himself more comfortable and at home with fellow geeks than his mother's high-roller friends and their snobby, cliquey kids. This was the norm for years. When Leslie turned sixteen, he got a job at an AMC movie theater on the upper east side, the better to continue his avoidance of his mother. Meanwhile, his trust fund grew without his knowledge, as those monies were not attached to his mother's.
One year ago, Leslie discovered he had a small Evolved talent — he could use anything as a skeleton key. A gum wrapper folded tight, a toothpick, even his fingerprints in lowtech cases only. This allowed him to go into lockers in train stations and bus stations and steal a dollar here or a dollar there to finance his comic book and gaming habit. He'll never be good enough to open a bank safe, or hack a computer's firewall with the ability. It's not that strong. Which would have disappointed any other brooding young man. But to Leslie it was a gift, a godsend. A fanboy fantasy given life and breath. He's now twenty seven, still working at the movie theater and Sbarro, and deeply immersed in fantasy over the real world.
And then, he walked into the store at the end of the summer '07 to find that Nima, one of the only women who was ever kind to him had left — gone to Philadelphia to open up a new branch of the Secret Lair. But her chosen successor was a woman who appeared in Leslie's eyes as a goddess — Persephone to his hell. Kory. She was like Nima — she never looked down on him or his friends. She was always nice. And she was so genuinely warm, like summer in a frozen hell. The infatuation became a crush, and crush became love. But because Leslie's life had never known reciprocal love, he brooded in pain about it, doubting she'd ever give him a chance. And while he brooded, another swept in and took her attentions while he was trying to screw his courage to the sticking place.
He went out with the guys since even the Lair closed early for New Year's eve. Drinking crazy fanboy cocktails such as gargle blasters, and rum and Jolt, he got drunk for the first time in his life and resolved that he would go after the things he wanted, and let nothing daunt him from his goals. He's recently started showing skills his mother might approve of in the business world: facility for research, note-taking, observation…
Leslie snapped at some point in late 2007, and in 2008 stalked and kidnapped Kory. He thought his natural genius and the trust fund he'd just come into were more than enough to let him get away with it scot-free. But he reckoned without her legion of friends … and the fact that several of them are genuine superhumans. After realizing he'd hurt the woman he claimed to love, he gave up the rant and let the authorities take him away.
Leslie's mother, Bianca, dispatched her lawyer, Woodrow Carcharias, to approach all offended and injured parties with a settlement. As a result, Leslie will be remanded to a mental hospital where he will be evaluated to determine how severe his condition is, and if he's still dangerous.
OOC: Leslie is stalking Kory. He eavesdrops on her conversations, and thinks that her current boyfriend doesn't deserve her. He has decided that he'll show Kory what it's like to be truly worshiped as the goddess she is. He considers his current lifestyle hell, and considers Kory his Persephone. To that end, he's given her pomegranate tea with drugs in, to make her suggestible, under the pretense of helping the insomniac Kory sleep.
Powers
Leslie has only one power. He can turn anything into a skeleton key, and one that works for his hand only. And only for mundane, low-tech locks The highest tech lock he can affect are the ones that use a thumbprint at bus stops and/or train stations. He can jam a pair of tweezers or a piece of wire or a blank key from a locksmith into a key opening for a lock and it will unlock for him. He can also lock it back, the better to appear as if he has business with the doors and lockers he's opening.

Quotes
- "What are you, four? CUT YOUR HAIR!"

- "I just wanted her to love me back. I …didn't mean for that to happen."
Trivia
- Leslie loathes his real name, with good reason. Going through his teenage years being named Leslie Fuchs-Wacker was not easy, and has left him bitter, scarred, and distrustful of anyone not a geek as well. He makes up a new name for himself on pretty much a weekly basis…which kind of implies his mental stability is going downhill.
- The 'Trevor' nickname was the one used by Jeremy Piven in the TV show Cupid. Piven played the titular character — a man who insisted he was the God of Love come down from Mt. Olympus as a human in punishment for shoddy work.
- The Javelin nickname is meant as a warning to other men he considers rivals for Kory's affections.
- Several common tropes apply to Leslie and how he behaves:
Themesongs
Garbage
… You will believe in me. And I will never be ignored.
Sting
… Oh can't you see, you belong to me … my poor heart aches, with every breath you take …
Savage Garden
…I'll be your dream I'll be your wish I'll be your fantasy. I'll be your hope I'll be your love Be everything that you need…
Death Cab For Cutie
… You reject my advances, and easily… I won't let you let me down so easily… so easily …
Depeche Mode
…I want you now, tomorrow won't do…
Relationships

- Leslie is deeply devoted to the ten or twelve rotating gamers who he plays with at the Lair.

- Leslie is terrified of Ian, Cam, and KeLyssa, regulars at The Secret Lair. He is aware they are Evolved but too afraid of them (and of being thought more delusional) to speak on it.
- Leslie is unsure of Tito and Lee.
- Leslie hates and despises Randall.
