Formerly known as Simon Templeton, Saint is a man that doesn't truly exist. A master of disguise and acquisitions expert, Saint's services are available to anyone that can afford him. A con artist with a heart of gold, he's on a life-long quest to avenge the death of his father and settle down from this life of crime. Maybe.

History

Simon Templeton was never really anybody. He was, for the majority of his early life, normal and average. His parents were the same way. In fact, everyone he ever seemed to know was the same way. He came from an average small town where everybody knew everybody. Nothing ever happened to the small town or the people in it. Everything was fairly calm and quiet until Simon's thirteenth birthday. That's when everything changed. Not because he suddenly hit puberty and developed special powers and abilities that made him greater than mortal men. It was much simpler than that. His Uncle came to visit.

Considering that everyone else in his family was so normal, Simon was always drawn to the stories and adventures of his uncle. His Uncle (also named Simon) was more of a jet-setting traveling man than his play it safe brother. Nobody ever really knew (or talked about) Uncle Simon's life or job, but Simon found it to be quite interesting. Much more interesting than sitting around this town and waiting for something cool to happen. Nothing cool ever happened in Dullsville.

Unless the terroristic execution of half the town, including Simon's parents, counts as "cool".

Nobody knew where they came from, why they were there or what they were looking for. But the end result was the fact that the only person Simon had in the world was his Uncle. What could've been something that cramped the playboy's lifestyle actually turned out to be more profitable than even he would've thought. For young Simon proved to be quite the attentive protege. Taken under the wing of Uncle Simon, he was introduced to the world of Illegal Acquisitions and everything that came along with it.

For the next six to seven years, Simon was taught everything he needed to know to follow in his uncle's footsteps. From breaking and entering to forgery to mastering the art of disguise, no stone was left unturned. No punches were pulled in the training of this young thief. Together, they would go on Uncle Simon's assignments and he would learn, in the field and by experience. Which, for the record, always seemed the best way to do this kind of work. They became quite the formidable team, working together to get their hands on whatever they were paid to get their hands on. And even making a little money on the side.

Things took a turn for the worse when they were hired to get their hands on package that was coming into the states from overseas. It was a set up from the moment they were hired. They realized it too late. Uncle Simon was gunned down and Simon barely escaped with his own life. He retreated back to their penthouse in Manhattan and went crazy. Not literally. Things were thrown around, broken and Simon was not taking yet another death in the family well. This man had brought him in, taken him under his wing, given him a life and now he was alone.

That's when he noticed and envelope taped to the fridge. He grabbed a chair and sat down, opening the envelope. The contents were poured on the table in front of him. His birth certificate, lists of aliases and accounts, all of Uncle Simon's most valuable information… and pictures. Baby pictures of himself. In going through the envelope of stuff, Simon managed to sift out the truth: Uncle Simon was his father.

He had been taken to that small town family and they were paid to keep him safe, normal and out of harm's way while Simon was living his crazy life. Those men that murdered him were people that Simon Sr. had hustled early in his career and they were itching for some payback. Well, now it was Junior's turn. He wasn't going to just let them get away with taking both of his families away from him. It was time to take the fight to them.

That was the night he took the mantle from his father. He became Saint Templar, due to some researching of old television shows on the internet. He continues to work as his father did, as a professional thief, and is on a constant quest to find everyone involved with his father's murder and bring them to his own personal brand of justice.

Personality

mycity

Saint Templar is a man that doesn't know about himself. There are parts of his life that make sense and others don't even begin to. All of these things, though, he's accepted and they've combined to make him into the man that he is today. He's always had a sarcastic sense of humor, which tends to come out no matter what he's doing or whom he's interacting with. His general demeanor is that of a young man that's in a crucial time of his life. He's trying to find some direction, even though he's immersed himself in his father's life and shadow.

While he may be on the other side of the law, this doesn't make him a bad person. He's actually the keeper of a heart of gold that tends to get in the way of him pulling off whatever he needs to pull of in order to get things done. There's always a job to do and that seems to take precedence in his life over everything else. He's a workaholic and tends to enjoy the thrill of the game. But his thrill seeking nature doesn't interfere with what he's been paid to do. His loyalties lie with himself. He doesn't fully trust anyone, even his contacts. Everyone is a potential enemy or mark and that's the key to his survival.

Saint is, for lack of better terminology, a good man. He wants to do the right thing, it's just that his life has been nothing but a lie for as long as he can remember. A lot of bad things have happened to him, which allows him to detach himself from his emotions a lot of the time. He can come off as cold and heartless, but deep inside he's a wellspring of emotion that has nowhere to go. He's complicated to the point that even he doesn't know what he's feeling sometimes.

Saint also has a bit of a Robin Hood complex. While he'll follow orders, because of the amount of zeroes on a check, he won't compromise his ideals for the cash. Most of his assignments are harmless acquisitions, but in the event it involves something more dangerous (like drugs or guns), he finds a way to get himself out of the situation. This usually ends up with him making more enemies than he already has. His generosity is a fault that he can't get rid of. He came from almost nothing and now he has the world at his fingertips. He believes that others should, at least, benefit from his success.

Identity Crisis

Saint Templar just happens to be a master of disguise. Which means that he's prone to taking on "characters" to get his point across, infiltrate or anything else that might need to be considered when it comes to being a master thief. Those that make it on this list are more than just One Shot Deals. These are the recurring characters that help him get the job done.

Simon Templeton: The man he was before he became his father. A normal, boring average 24 year old guy. Nothing really special to note about his Simon persona, other than it's the legal one. So anything that he needs to be "legal" on, he uses the Simon persona. This is also how he manages to pick up hot girls. They love the cute goofball look.

Eric Forman: A stoner persona that has a mad hard-on for the seventies. Tends to make it easier to get some information out of the less than volunteering types. He's easy to talk to and comes off as an idiot more often than not. Which means more people say things around him than would usually be said.

Michael Charles: The business executive. Whenever Saint needs to get into con artist mode and bring out the business end of his artistry, he turns into Michael Charles. He's the usual fast-talking spin doctor when it comes to this persona, which is exactly how the ruthless world of big business is.

Dr. Antonio Stark: Not a real doctor. Not even one that's played on television. But this is how he makes it in and out of hospitals. There are all sorts of things that he can do or take advantage of when in the presence of nurses and important charts with vital information about patients.

Edward Brock: Low-level freelance photographer with a chip on his shoulder. Not exactly the best guy for any job, but he does know how to take risks and can make the paparazzi look like they've never shot a camera a day in their lives. He's good with getting the trashy and blackmail photos that make tabloids successful.
