A Risk Worth Taking

Upper East Side

Ah, New York City. The only place in the world where you can offend people just be being, depending on what neighborhood you're in, or what street you're on. And when someone like Scottie is bored, why /not/ do his best to offend some people? It might bring him some entertainment for an hour or two. Arms uncovered to show the intricate tribal that laces up his arms like ivy, the tattoo artist is in full punk mode, all piercings glinting in the late afternoon sun, eyes surrounded by black liner that falls down his face to highly resemble the types of marking on a cheetah's face. Out of place? Him? Surely you must be joking.

Well, he's certainly out of place in a street that has well dressed and high powered attorneys, businessmen and women, and all those sorts of yuppy types. Several people have their attention directed towards him, standing there definitely standing out,but one of those women, cant help but chuckle to herself. She was an outcast once, but now she's one of them, and she heads on over, her heels click clacking on the asphalt as she heads on over. "That's pretty gutsy to just be here you know. That woman I was standing beside earlier was pondering whether to call the police.." Ling says with a wry grin on her lips.

Glancing over at Ling, Scottie give her a wry grin of his own. "All I gotta do in that case is run a few streets over." He answers, shoving his hands into his pockets. "Or just wait for them to get here and start running then. Might liven the day up a little bit."

"Dont worry about her. She's had a rather awful day. Just found out her husband cheated on her.." Ling quips as she doesnt reveal that the adulteress of the affair was her, cause well, she likes to have her fun on the side and whatnot. "dont worry about these high strung control freaks. I like your guts..they're quite admirable.."

Letting out a bark of a laugh at information, Scottie shakes his head. "Well, if she calls the cops on me, I'll forgive her then, in that light." He answers. "And I wouldn't really call it guts. More like a risk taken out of boredom. Sometimes pissing off all these rich motherfuckers is the only thing that holds my interest. Lucky for me, I've gotten pretty good at it."

"I see..dont exactly like them huh? Well, I cant say I'm too fond of them either.." Ling says matter of factly though she sees herself superior in other ways, simply because she can easily control should she really want to. "So..what else do you like to do for fun?" she asks with a wry waggle of her brows.

"Oh, piss people off, annoy cops, stab people repeatedly with needles…" He answers, ticking things off on his fingers, before throwing Ling a flirtatious grin. "Talking to pretty women like yourself." Scottie ends before raising a doubly pierced eyebrow. "And what do /you/ like doing for fun?"

Ling hrmms for a few moments as she looks him over once more, "A tattoo artist it seems.." she says, making the little logical leap when she sees all his tats and the whole stabbling people repeatedly with needles. "Well, I was wanting to get one,you think you can do it for me?" she asks curiously while canting her head to the side. "And as to what I like doing for fun Lots of things..if you're lucky enough you may get to partake in one of my favorite activities.."

Eyebrow rising higher for a moment, Scottie smirks. "Do tell." He murmurs in response, highly intrigued. "Both about the tattoo you're wanting, and this favorite activity." However, with him, it's hard to tell which of the two wins more interest.

"Well, I have one already you see..and it runs down from my neck all the way down to my hips, and I feel it needs a touchup. Perhaps some coloring and maybe it can extend to my sides..who knows..I haven't really decided yet.." Ling muses under her breath as she idly runs her fingers through her hair. She pauses for a few moments as she puts her fingers over his lips and waggles her brows, "And as for my favorite activity..well, I dont know if I should tell you.." she whispers ever so softly as she tries to manipulate his nervous system to the point that he'd feel really, really good right as her finger touched his lips.

Lips parting slightly on instinct, they part even more as Ling's powers take effect, the tattoo artist's eyes slid shut. Shoulders rolling back, the muscles in his legs tighten, Scottie lets out a shaky, sharp breath, hands clenching at his sides, the occasional spasm making his head jerk back… before he relaxes completely, leaning back against the wall behind him, muscles seemingly made of jello. "Well…" He eventually replies. "Best activity ever."

A wry, almost predatory grin curls onto her lips as she waggles her brows, "And imagine, I did that with just a simple touch..imagine what else I can do.." she leans in to whisper before letting out an amused chuckle. "So..are you good?" Whether she's referring to him as a tattoo artist or something else is up to debate.

Somewhat glazed over eyes opening, Scottie smirks as he meets Ling's eyes. "Well, if I told you, it would take all the fun out of finding out for yourself, wouldn't it?" He replies in a slight purr. "But if you must know, the general consensus is /very/."

"I hope you realize I was talking about your tattoo artistry.." Ling quips with a wry waggle of her brow as she laughs heartily once more. She hrmms for a few moments and wets her lips with her tongue ever so slowly. "That is at the top of my agenda after all..fun can always be had after business you know.."

Smirk widening, Scottie dips a hand into one of the many pockets his pants has, pulling out a somewhat crumpled business card. It's a simple black card with a bit of white tribal over the name of his tattoo parlor, the phone number, and where it's located in Queens. "And the answer is still the same." He chuckles, holding the card out to her with two fingers.

"Good, make me happy and I'll make sure you're well taken care of.." Ling quips as she takes the card and slips it into her business suit before retrieving her own card to give to him.

"Oh, don't worry about that. I've /never/ had anyone complain about my tattoos." Scottie assures her, reaching out to take her card, tucking it into yet another pocket. "And I highly doubt that that streak will be broken with you."

"My address is on my card. I'd like you to stop by tomorrow, and bring your equipment.." Ling says in a way that it isn't a request, but rather a demand. "and anything else you wish to bring.." she whispers softly before waggling her brows once more..

Grinning, for a moment Scottie wonders what in the hell he did to earn this, but the thought is soon gone from his mind. "Well, I don't usually do house calls, but… I think I'll make an exception, just this once."

"You might have trouble getting past the doorman, but just show him my card and he'll let you up. And don't eat, I'll have dinner prepared for us, and perhaps breakfast.." Ling whispers before letting out an impish giggle before she starts to head off back towards her building once more…

Watching her go for a moment, Scottie lets out a small breath before grinning. "Damn. I fucking love this city."
