A full-time student at a college in New York City, Amelia has mostly had a normal life. Up until recently, anyway.
History
Amelia Whitehall was born in California, in 1989. She had a normal childhood in the suburbs, with hard-working parents her were fairly well-off. Her father was often gone on business trips, and her mother was a successful novelist who stayed at home most of the time, so she spent more time with her mom. This meant she got to reading very early in life, and developed a love of books that has stuck with her through the years. While she socializes with other girls her age, she is neither part of the 'popular' crowd, nor the 'outcast' crowd. She exists in an inbetween point, where neither type is really sure what to make of her.
Until recently, Amelia was a senior in highschool. For the past couple years, the stress of school, and the preparations to go to college have been really running her ragged. She's been up late at night studying.
However, Amelia is preparing to go to a college in New York, and will be flying out there shortly. To her, getting away from home will reduce her stress levels, and get her back to normal. Maybe she can make some new friends, and even have some fun… Something she feels like she's forgotten how to have lately.

- October 18th, 2007 - Amelia helps a Brian clone away from the scene of a multiple homocide. Relevant Log: God Sent An Angel
- ???, 2007 - Amelia and Brian meet at Central Park, and a large tree branch falls on them both. Somehow neither of them is crushed. Relevant Log: Not yet up.
- February 19th, 2008 - Amelia finally gets a long enough break from school to check out the dying maple trees. She discovers a strange talent, while unbeknownst to her, Mohinder, Sophie, and Joule discuss Sophie's own talent nearby. Also Tyson pops up and speaks to Amelia at about the same time that Joule approaches her, leaving her with mixed impressions of the two. She takes off before Mohinder and Joule can give her one of Mohinder's cards. Relevant Log: Barking Up The Right Trees

Osteokinesis (Bone Control)
- BONE PUNCH: Bone Punch involves hyper-densifying the hand bones so that being punched by Amelia is a bit like being hit with a brick or steel bar. Her muscle strength is still what is driving the punch so it only hits with the actual force of her normal thrown punch. However there is +1 damage level added to the punch's resulting damage roll and Amelia suffers no damage to her bones from the punch. Regardless of what it is she's punching. Flesh damage and pain are still applicable. This requires a +roll of Average or higher to activate.
- DENSITY CHANGE: Density Change allows Amelia to alter the density of her bones. This can make them hollow like a bird's, or as hard as steel, or very flexible so they bend under pressure instead of breaking… She can make a specific bone denser or less dense than normal, or all her bones at once, or anything inbetween. This may trigger instinctively rather than at will. Amelia needs to +roll Mediocre or higher to make this power work as it is a fairly basic and instinctive application of her power. If she succeeds in densifying her bones then powerful blows or damage which might otherwise have severely harmed her or broken her bones is either reduced by one level if it is merely flesh damage and bone-harming damage is reduced by one level plus one level per rank the +roll succeeded by. Thus if Amelia +rolled a Good on Density Change then damage would be reduced by three levels because the basic one + the two ranks above Mediocre would equal three levels of damage reduction. NOTE: If in an immediately life-threatening situation with no time for thought or conscious reaction Amelia's body may forcibly alter the density of her skeleton to try to keep her alive. In such a case add two effective ranks to +roll Density Change for the purposes of ACTIVATION ONLY. These effective ranks do not count towards the damage reduction levels.
