The tortured CEO of Lancaster Electronics is as mixed a figure of light and shadows as his face is a mix of scarred and good. (Yes, he does wear an eyepatch and have a scarred up face that his photo does not match). On the one hand, he works hard from the shadows to smuggle humans into Mexico, he helps bankroll the Boondock Saints, and he protects what remains of his family and friends with his life. He continues to bear a sense of firm responsibility and obligation which mark him.

On the other hand, two of his children have been killed. After losing his first wife to his murderer his second has gone missing, fate unknown. And because he married a prophet, he is forever tortured with the knowledge that Desiree gave him her visions and gave him the responsibility of fixing the future…and it all came about anyway.

He has become a cold, ruthless, rage and hate filled man who will kill those who cross him without a second thought, who will destroy or invade minds without losing a moment's sleep, and who gets some peace when torturing his enemies and watching their fear. He has become harsh and feared.

History

Ramon was once a simple man. He was an IT guy struggling to support a family of four children after his wife was murdered. His quest to find justice for his wife soon transformed his entire life. He found the killer, and, with the help of many friends, destroyed him. Along the way he gained a new position as Chairman of the Board of EvoSoft-Lancaster, a new home, a new wife, and two new step-children. Things were happy for a time, though always overshadowed both by the dark revelations his quest had given him and the dark future his wife had predicted—a future that she had been certain they could somehow stop.

The future was not stopped. In just two short years, his son Luis and his daughter Juanita were killed, New York had become a disaster, America had changed for the worse and his second wife had gone missing. His benefactor, Jaden Cain, a man who he had thought he would be loyal to for the rest of his life turned against him, leaving him to pick up the pieces with Eric Lancaster.

When Eric made him CEO of Lancaster Electronics in the wake of his own personal tragedy, Ramon began doing what he did best—obsessed. He obsessed on how to fix what had gone wrong, even if only in small ways, on learning the fate of his missing wife, but most of all, on the rage that had come to consume him. In 2 years he has become a good business leader, though there are dark whispers around Lancaster that he ripped as much of his knowledge out of other people's minds as he did from natural talent or books. He has his own sense of honor and duty and he takes care of his company, his people, and the humans he's sent to work in his secret Mexico facilities from the shadows, but he is no longer at all what one might call a nice person. He and Eric Lancaster also bankroll the group known as the Boondock Saints.

Quotes

"We're going to need another money launderer for the Saints. Our other one seems to have tripped and fallen in front of my desk there." (After killing a man in Hatred)

"Gene, could you please open the back?" Ramon asks, ever so nicely. "I'd like to say /my/ prayer now." He stomps to the back, and sets Kitten on his shoulder, looking through the sights. He'll just wait for that door to open. Whenever it does, he's going to target the lead humvee. His mouth curves into a cold smile. It's almost happy. He sets his feet. The cold night air in his face, the weight of destruction on his shoulder. He hisses a rough, "/Vaya con Dias/, Mamabichos." And then he pulls that trigger.
