It's one of those rough moments in George's life that makes the smooth ones that much sweeter. Oh, who are we kidding? It's just annoying. "Well, fast results don't help us if they're wrong results, do they?" he says to the colleague on the other end of the phone. "We've gone over— look, just pair him up with Mike till we come up with something better. All right." Finally he hangs up and shoots Sierra an apologetic look. At least there's one part of his day that's going well.

There isn't much to be said about Sierra today. She seems happy and content, one leg softly swinging over another as she looks quite sweetly over at George as he talks on the phone. She smiles softly at him as he talks, seeming interested, at least somewhat, in the conversation as she sips on a latte. When George finally hangs up, she tilts her head to one side and softly says, "Is everything alright, cherie? I do hope there's not been too much disaster at the office?"

Quinn actually looks in pretty good spirits, as she pushes open the door. She is humming, however, something that sounds sort of sweet and sad, quite the contrast. She pulls off her overcoat, searching for a seat.

George leans over, easing an arm around Sierra's waist and shaking his head. "Trouble, yes. Disaster, no— one of the new guys made some mistakes, it got caught early enough to do damage control. It happens." Or else it makes the national news. "If you just ditch them— well, I was in his shoes myself, a few years back, you know?"

Sierra nudges George lightly with her shoulder. "Mmm, well, trouble is just my kind of word!" And her style, as she can be quite the bothersome trouble if she wants to be. "Well, I'm glad you've got it under wraps, cherie." Catching a glimpse of Quinn, she waves. "Quinn!" She calls out to the other woman. "Are you looking for a place to sit? Join us!" She looks at George. "You don't mind, do you?"

Quinn spins as she hears her name taken in vain. She breaks into a smile as she sees the source, waving at Sierra. Walking over, she says, "Hey there. Getting my daily fix of caffeine."

"Not at all," replies George, easing his chair back to open up some more room for Quinn - and a good thing, too, as the other tables are pretty solidly filled up by this hour. "Another show tonight? Must take a lot out of you, doing live shows for days at a time… At least with a movie, you can pick and choose a bit."

Sierra smiles all pretty like at George. "A movie? Now there is something I'd like to try my hand at. I bet I could play many roles." She giggles lightly, turning to Quinn. "Ah, oui, caffeine is wonderful! I cannot get enough. Night or day, I just need it!" Perhaps that's why she's constantly cheery…

Quinn hmms, "I can't imagine doing a movie. I mean, set lines?" she chuckles, "I do my act totally off the cuff." as she takes the offered seat.

George arches a brow at Quinn. "Of course you do," he deadpans. With costume changes like that? On the other hand, he knows perfectly well what Sierra is playing at, and swats at the back of her wrist just underneath the table.

Quinn looks innocent enough, "What, you think that isn't spontaneous?" and then she watches the movement, likely meaning a swat, with some humor.

Sierra smiles sweetly at George, giving him a peck on the cheek. "Ah, Miss Quinn, your act is marvellous, one way or another! I am actually slightly jealous of it. We certainly need to get our interview in! And Joule can take a photo of you for it!"

George follows along politely; it's the media dolls' turn to indulge in shop talk, and while he knows a few things here and there, it's not his bread-and-butter. He takes the opportunity to get up and go order some pastry and a cup of something unpronounceable.

Quinn smiles at that, "Well, thanks. I like that people enjoy my work. And, of course, either or both of you are invited, anytime. And bring guests."

Sierra chuckles. "Well, we'll set up a little meeting. It shall provide you with even more publicity, after all. Not that you need it! I bet people are flocking in state-wide just to see your performance!" She smiles at George as he stands to get himself something.

"We've got some insurance high-ups coming down from Hartford next week," George offers, settling back into his seat. That would be Hartford in Connecticut, then, not the smaller town upstate. "I don't know how much free time they have, but I'll be sure to recommend it."

Quinn says, "Well, be sure to send them by. I don't think they're likely to see something like it at home." with a grin. "You come too, and bring friends." hey, shameless plugs come with the territory, when you're a performer.

Sierra nudges George. "You bring them, I bring some friends from my work, it could be fun, non?" She grins widely. She nods to Quinn. "We'll have a wonderful time."
