"When The Shaman Comes Around"

Hanner Manor - Foyer

It's the evening and that means time for Kitty to relax, well.. she doesn't relax most evenings but tonight she is trying to, especially after the fiasco this morning with one of her jets being blown up.

Laying on the couch in the living room, dressed in a pair of black sweat shorts and a grey tank top, Kitty is reading a book. Tea being stirred on the table besides the couch. Her hair up in a bun, a few loose strands hang into her face.

There is never time to relax when fate raps on the door. It's a very solid sound, echoing down the hall, like wood on wood as opposed to fingers or knuckles. A tall dark skinned man stands outside the door, resting on a long, well used walking stick. He's dressed warmly, though, in heavy clothes and a thick jacket— that says I <3 New York! on the back.

Not expecting company of any kind, Kitty raises an eyebrow as she stands from the couch and goes to answer the door, first looking through the peephole. Uh.. hello?

The young woman opens the door and looks at the man with a hand on her hips. "Hello?" she says with a tilt of her head, hands tighten at her side, she doesn't know if he is friend.. or foe.

"Hello," the man says in an accent that isn't quite familiar, but is definitely not from the country she belongs to. "Do not go into the corner of 3rd and Avenue A tomorrow. Skip your meeting." Something about his eyes and expression seems friendly, but also… strange. "It is for your own good, Kitty Hanner." The way he says her name comes off weird, but how did he know her name?

"Excuse me?" Kitty says and looks at him closely. "Ok.. don't go to the meeting.." Kit says and then folds her arms. "Did you see something.. or what?" Precog asking precog.

"Because.. I can't see any other reason as to why you would say that.." Kitty is confused a little. "What's your name?" A hand goes through her hair, "Since you obviously know mine."

"Usutu," he says, looking past her and inside the house. "You have a lot of money. Do you know Whitney Houston?" From the way he says it, he seems to think this would be a likely thing. There's a lot of people in America and some have money, but— that shouldn't mean they'd know a famous person, generally.

"No, I actually haven't had the chance to meet her, but I've always wanted too." Kit says with a light grin, "Come in for some tea? I'd like to hear about what you saw." She says and opens the door wider. "And I can tell you what I see." She says and grins wider.

"You want to know so much," Usutu says, letting his staff move closer to her, almost as if he's offering to allow her to touch it. "But a true spirit walk requires patience. Finding out details too soon will change the future in too many ways, and some things must happen, so that other things can happen. You need to see Parkman. You can help him."

"Ok. Meet Parkman.." Kitty then raises her eyebrows and puts a hand on her hip. Is this guy telling her about the future? Um what? "Sometimes a entirely new future is better." She says softly and her hand reaches out to caress the staff. "Pretty.." Kit tilts her head and looks in the man's eyes. "Who is Parkman?" she says, not knowing who the guy is.

Steps a little closer, Usutu pulls something out of his I <3 NEW YORK coat. It's a napkin, with a sketch of a map, and an address, and a time and date. "This is when and where you will meet Parkman. He is like you. Special. Tell him that you are here to help him complete his journey, and you will lead him to others who can assist as well." Only know, when she has the napkin, does a vision rack her body.

A hare sitting upon a comic book, Ninth Wonders, a man standing nearby with a sword. A familiar man, with glasses and dark hair. It's so intense it knocks her towards the floor.

"<You have a comic book.>" Hiro states the obvious, crouching down before the hare and tilting his head to try and look at the magazine without disturbing the animal, "<Ninth Wonders!?>" He stands up slowly again, taking a slow and curious look around, "<Well, at least I'm probably not in the past … >"

"I do not think the hare speaks your language," a male voice says in a thick accent, moving around another rock. The hare doesn't run away, but turns to look as the dark skinned man comes into view, holding a long stick he has resting against his shoulder. Despite the initial appearance of a native, some of his attire stands out of place for the area, specifically an orange t-shirt with a Planet Hollywood logo, and headphones around his neck along with a tattered scarf.

Hiro near jumps when he hears the voice near him, turning around quickly and taking a few swift, backpedalling steps. But he is a trusting soul, and seeing that the man isn't pointing a gun or threatening to set him on fire he relaxes a little and tilts his head. He switches to his own heavily-accented English. "Where are we?"

The man even has a friendly smile on a bearded face. Clean and white teeth stand out as he looks him over, bringing the walking stick down to touch the dirt. "Africa," he answers the question simply. "I have been expecting you, though I thought you would arrive more quickly."

The force of the vision throws Kitty onto the floor, her hair flying out of the bun and falling over her face. Her body twitches and if the man looks down upon her he would notice that her eyes are flickering, while a milk white color.

Her mouth moves, repeating the words that are being said and then her head lolls to the side and she is unconscious.

The tall dark skin man kneels down and touches her forehead, "Spirit walks are never easy, young one," he says, before standing, turning the lock on the door, and stepping back out into the cold, after making sure the door is closed behind him.
